What's included

Au programme

We'll meet in the afternoon and take a 1h30 tour followed by (at least!) an hour for our apéritif.
We'll go to the must-sees of my neighbourhood: rue Mercière, Jacobins, Célestins, Ainay, and more. where I'll share Lyon's history, some anecdotes and all the best places to eat, drink or find the best croissant.
Our wine and cheese hour will take place in one of my favourite wine bars in town, where we'll be offered a couple of wines curated by the owner with a great selection of nibbles to accompany it.

Book an apéro-tour

  • Dates and times vary but I usually have the tours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (I open more week days in July) and we meet midafternnon (4.30 or a bit later).

  • We meet Place de la République and end the tour around rue de la Charité or rue des remparts d'Ainay depending on the bar of the day.

  • The apéro-tour is 90€ per person (free for babies under 3). I can offer non alcoholic beverages as alternatives to wine and a vegetarian option for food.

Why these tours

I first began giving tours for friends when I lived in Paris, after realizing how rarely we take time to explore our own city. To tempt them along, I would always choose a lovely place to finish — somewhere we could share a drink and linger in conversation.When I moved to Lyon, I kept the ritual alive and soon thought: why not open it to travelers, friends of friends, and curious strangers?I love this neighbourhood deeply, and I rarely go a week without saying, “l’apéro, c’est la vie.” Creating this experience felt only natural.*Photo @Muriel Chaulet - Ville de Lyon Théâtre des Celestins

With over twelve years in this neighbourhood and a deep rooted love for apéro, I now have many local spots where I love to discover new wines and meet friends.
Depending on availability, we'll end our tour in one of those spots, each with great owners, an amazing selection and delicious food.
